I haven't really done all that much either LOL!<br />
Here are some more Wedding Layouts I have done for my friend's album. I am finally finished it and remembered to take pictures of them all. <br />
This frist layout started as an idea in my head. This is my favorite couple picture of Jody and Gord. When I first saw it, I knew I wanted to do a mosaic of sort around it. It it me a loooong time to do. First off, I sketched out a couple of ideas on paper and started to collect the mosaic pieces. I purchased them all at Michael's. Since they were quite expensive ($5.99) I used a 40% off weekly coupon to buy most of them, so it took a few months to get them all. I think I used 10 packs.<br />
<br />

It is over-cast here. Not like yesterday which was scorching and was spent outside. Got a lot of weeds pulled in my flower beds. They are coming together nicely. I stopped by Extra Foods to look at their annuals. Poor pathetic looking plants. They are long past due for a transplanting. I didn`t pick any up however since it was just William and I with his wagon. Picked up some really cute "CARS" gardening gloves for William though.<br />
<br />
On to my Layouts. This is another layout from my 20 page workshop. I took the time this morning to take pics of all of the dominican ones I have finished so far. Hopefully William will let me get a few posted. We`ll see....<br />

"Better late than never, unless you missed the whole show." Is my motto. I have had this layout done since my last post, but have not been on the internet much since my family moved to another place in town. And sadly, we've been moved almost a month and my scrapbook room is still stacks here and there, my desk is not set up, and no shelves on the wall either. On the days that there is actually no rain I have been too busy outside with another LOVE of mine- flower beds. You should see the shape these are in. I think they grew over a few years ago! But I am looking forward to getting them cleaned out and my own plants in them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So onto another Dominican Republic layouts:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These are my favorites of Jody and her son Chase.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Have you ever tried to find Purple and Orange paper that is not Halloween themed?? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm telling you, not much- if any out there. Not to match these photos anyhow.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Her bouquet was birds of paridise and some local (Dominican) Cream coloured Flowers. I haven't looked up their name yet. Birds of Paradise were also hard to find scrapbooking wise, so I pieced these together myself. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Materials Used: Close To MY Heart-Stamps (Believe Lower and Uppercase, and Cherished Flourishes)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ribbon Slide.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">All the paper used was misellaneous courtesy of my assorted CS bin.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The quote was a rub-on from--( will find out soon)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The orange bling is from--(will find out soon)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And ribbon is from my sister's stash and Walmart.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I have been working on a scrapbook for my friend Jody of her Dominican Wedding. I was a bridesmaid for her wedding on February 5th, 2011 in the Dominican Republic.<br />
I started the scrapbook in January as a 20 page workshop for my 12 for 12 group. I created it from the new MAGIC scrapbooking program from CTMH. It uses one CTMH Level II paper pack and about 20 pieces of extra CS for bases and matting, etc. I am hoping to post the actual instructions once I get all of the pages put together. I was really on a roll from Jan- Mar, but this last month I've been occupied with other things.<br />
So today I finally picked up my camera and took pics of what I have completed so far.... Enjoy!<br />
The paper pack I used was Magnifique from CTMH unless otherwise stated. I know I should get my fingers slapped for using other products for projects in my class, but let's be realistic. There are sooooo many other products that are perfect for this beach wedding theme. <br />

The 2nd day of December already. Here are a few cards I have made with the sentiment "Sharing the Magic" from the Close To My Heart -Stamp of the Month set in October. All 3 cards are using the same pattern since I made a little workshop for my cards. The sentiment is embossed with White Embossing Powder from CTMH.<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The first one I made using a digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps. I am finally getting a chance to post something! I found a blog this holiday season that sends Handmade cards to Canadian Soldiers to send to their families at Christmas time- and any other occasion for that matter. I am looking forward to sending many cards that I make to this cause. <a href="http://cardsforcanadiansoldiers.webs.com/apps/blog/">cardsforcanadiansoldiers.webs.com</a> is Wonderful! The deadline for Christmas Cards has passed, but if you would also like to send cards of any kind in the future, please check out their website.<br />
<br />
Now on to my cards.... I was able to get 34 ready and sent out, but.... in a mad rush to get them in the mail on time I forgot to scan may of the different kinds. Argh!!<br />
The following cards were from a card workshop I did for mass production last year, which I did not finish, or need. All I had to do to these were add the Snowflakes which were cut using the Cricut and the NEW Creative Memories Cartridge- Cheerful Seasons. The Stamped image is a NEW stamp from Close To My Heart-Captured Moments.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TO5iI1j_PGI/AAAAAAAAAJc/1pLnssUEtis/s1600/Cards+for+Canadian+Soldiers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" ox="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TO5iI1j_PGI/AAAAAAAAAJc/1pLnssUEtis/s400/Cards+for+Canadian+Soldiers.jpg" width="242" /></a></div>All of the papers are from Close To My Heart. The patterned paper "Aspen" however is now unavailable. I have a bunch put away 'cause I love it!! But don't want to use it and run out! Isn't that silly? I'm sure some of you out there in blog land have done the same. <br />
<br />
Hopefully I'll have more time to post again soon. I have been getting lots of Scrapbooking and Cardmaking done lately so I hope you come back to see!<br />
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping Everyone! and too our American neighbours, "Happy Thanksgiving!"<br />

I recently took over a scrapbooking group for a fellow CTMH consultant and here are the Layouts we have made so far...( all products used are Close To MY Heart)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This layout I made from the new Magic Scrapbook Program using the products in the Hooligans Workshop. I didn't make the layout in the Workshop because I wanted one that I could easily adapt with Flip Flaps.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKom4gr4U3I/AAAAAAAAAI0/Y536G6YwaCc/s1600/DSC09447.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="156" px="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKom4gr4U3I/AAAAAAAAAI0/Y536G6YwaCc/s320/DSC09447.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here they are seperately with the Flip Flaps open. These new Flip Flaps by CTMH are 4x12, 6x12, and 8x12. (4x12 and 6x12 used here)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpFiBJBSkI/AAAAAAAAAJI/_ltJG2gOLWg/s1600/DSC09450.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" px="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpFiBJBSkI/AAAAAAAAAJI/_ltJG2gOLWg/s320/DSC09450.JPG" width="244" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpF1cM32OI/AAAAAAAAAJM/Z0TPuHOtm9w/s1600/DSC09451.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="229" px="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpF1cM32OI/AAAAAAAAAJM/Z0TPuHOtm9w/s320/DSC09451.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The Layouts have a few empty spaces because I have some Non-CTMH products to add, but don't want them on there for my class.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This next one is the Olivia Workshop from CTMH</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpKcCH1s7I/AAAAAAAAAJQ/yELTSAK7rT0/s1600/DSC09453.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="159" px="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TKpKcCH1s7I/AAAAAAAAAJQ/yELTSAK7rT0/s320/DSC09453.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love this new paper pack. The colours are beautiful and perfect for these fall pictures of William taken 3- yes 3 years ago. I am WAY behind!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This next layout is the additional layout found on the website that you can make with the remaining paper in your package.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I made this card last night at midnight. I was called to work for an x-ray and then was WIDE awake when I got home, so I stayed up and finished this for a friend of mine. Her birthday is Monday, but I'm going on Holidays yay! and won't seen her for awhile.<br />
I started with a sketch challenge form waltzing mouse sketches and then tied in a couple of others on the way.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TFtL4vcNOII/AAAAAAAAAH0/VSFdy-__Okc/s1600/img135.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" bx="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_fRiCu3EIxUk/TFtL4vcNOII/AAAAAAAAAH0/VSFdy-__Okc/s320/img135.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ingredients:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">CTMH- Animal Cookies paper, On Target Dimentional Elements, Cranberry Craft Buttons, Tulip Twinkle Brad, Inks- Clover Meadow and Dutch Blue</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">COPICS</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Creative Imaginations-Sunshine Rub-on</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Making Memories- White Letter Rub-Ons, Flower Brads</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Tilda-Magnolia Stamps</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I have done another 8 x 8 LO for my friend's new baby boy. His name is -yeah-you guessed it. Carter. I used these adorable papers by Imaginisce that I have had since I found out I was pregnant with a boy, so 3 1/2 years. But they are so cute I couldn't resist using them in Carter's album as well.<br />

Here is a card I made for my X-Ray supervisor. She turned the big 5-0 a couple weeks ago. I gave it to her yesterday and then asked to "borrow "it again, so i could scan it since I didn't get a chance to on the weekend.<br />
Once again I started with a sketch. It is from Friday Sketchers.<br />

I finished this card on Friday night, but never had a chance to post it until now. Because of that I missed out on the challenge that this sketch was based on. Oh well. I made this card for a special friend who is moving. She is my CTMH upline, who just happens to live a couple blocks from me now, but is moving to Toronto next week! On Saturday night a bunch of her upline got together for a little Potluck and Crop as a last Get-Together. So I actually have a couple 8 x 8 LOs to post later. Good Luck and Happy Trails Laurie! I'll miss your guidance, and friendship- but we still have phone and e-mail!<br />
Back to my card....I used my absolute favorite non-Close To My Heart stamp. Little Miss "Daisy" By Elizabeth Bell for Sugar Nellie Stamps.This was the sketch I started my card from:<br />
Scrappy Sketch # 30. This challenge ended Saturday.=(<br />

But I am back to work tomorrow, so that might be it for awhile. The other 2 will be in the next post. <br />
I spent a lot of time searching through all of my papers, but at least I am using it up! I came across these Recipe stickers by EK Success yesterday while searching and remembered that the new H2H challenge was "Recipe", so that is where I started this morning. Then I tried to find a sketch to follow and I managed to make Stamping 411's work. (I think) I background stamped the Crystal Blue base pages to bring the LO more together.<br />
Here's the final outcome:<br />

I used my new Cherry Limeade Cricut Cartridge for the letters and Plantin Schoolbook for the circles. The patterned papers were from 7gypsies, MME, Creative Memories, and Kei. The CS is CTMH-Cocoa, Topiary, Crystal Blue, and White Daisy.</span><br />

I really wanted to use Disney's "CARS" as the theme, but the stickers I thought I had do not exsist in my stash. So instead I chose Tigger and Pooh. I have had these cute 3D stickers for a LONG, LONG time so I was glad to put them to use.<br />

I am very happy to have a card to post tonight using my new COPICS!<br />
This card was made for my niece Jenae who was quite crushed after not receiving an award at school. Only 2 children did get awards in her class, but in Grade 1, I think each child should get recognition for something they are good at, or improved in over the year. (That was the norm all through my Elementary Years)-I never received an award for spelling)<br />
Anyways, now this is where my card comes in. After hearing how upset she was, I pictured this little fairy sitting on my desk that I had finished coloring and told my sister Jen that I would make Jenae a special card telling her how proud I was that she finished Grade 1 and send it in the mail. I hope it lifts her spirits.<br />
Oh, and of course I had to encorporate a few challenges into it...<br />
