Childhood Portrait Birthday Card

Hey Y'all,
I only got one card today, but that is o.k. I spent some quality time with William watching Alladin and playing dinosaurs and reading stories about Super Friends and CARS.
For the challenge over at Crafty Creations Challenges, we had to use our favorite stamp set. Well I have so many favorites, each one from their own category. But since I had to go with just one I chose Close To My Heart's Childhood Portrait. I just love these cute silhouettes.

The patterned paper was from October Afternoon. I stamped the little boy with Juniper, Sunflower, Cranberry, Sweet Leaf and Moonstruck inks. All from CTMH. I used the Cricut to cut the Happy Birthday with the A Child's Year cartridge.
Now should I give this card to my 35 y.o brother or 3 y.o nephew? LOL!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Scrappin'!

Have a MOOvelous Birthday.

Hello again,
Well between 3 loads of laundry and some cleaning here and there, I have managed to get a card done while the boys are out and about.
This card turned out just like I had pictured when I started! And that never happens!

When I started I had 4 Challenges in mind which were:
As usual, all products used are Close To My Heart, except the ribbon- just Walmart 49cent stuff again.
I started out with the polka dot paper from the Silouette PP and instantly thought of cows. Luckily I had borrowed my mom's Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge because I do not have a cow stamp yet.
The tree and grass were stamped with the Childhood Portrait SS, and the flowers with the Cottage Floral SS. I then added the Chocolate Bigger Brads to the flowers, the ribbon bow to the tail, the greeting and voila! Hee hee, it makes me smile anyway and hope you smile too when you see it.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Scrappin'

Mojo Monday # 140

Hello,
Once again I have locked myself in my craft room to finish this card for the Mojo Monday Challenge. This was a fun card to make. Do you know how long it has been since I have used patterned paper other than Close To My Heart? A very long, long time.
The striped paper is from "Laundry Line" by MME. Everything else with the exception of the red brads (which are misc finds) are from Cloe To My Heart. The other patterned paper is a white piece I stamped using the Stamp Sets: Say It In Style, Intrinsic Backgrounds, Botanical Borders, and Star Struck. I used Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, Chocolate and Holiday Red ink pads. The cardstock is Cranberry. The Green "flag" tag is the reverse side of the striped paper.
The Strawberry is stamped using the New Fruitful Delight Stamp Set and then coloured in with Holiday Red and Cranberry markers. Then I added liquid glass to the strawberries, cut them out (once they dried over night) and then sponge squared them onto the same image stamped again. It was stamped in Clover Meadow and outlined in Olive.
I used the Cricut and the Accent Essentials cart to get that circle accent with a brad in the middle. I also used 3 antiqued copper CTMH bitty brads.
And I think that is it!
Can't wait to do more tomorrow! I think I have the house to myself for a few hours!
As always, thanks for visiting, and Happy Scrappin'

I used the Cricut to make the flowers with the Accent Essentials Cart. and the "Hi!" was cut using Ashlynn's Alpha Cart.
Thanks for Buzzing Bye!

The Pink Stamper Challenge # 12

This challenge had to have and animal or critter on it. I chose this adorable dragonfly from the CTMH SS Ambiance. Everything except the white pen is from CTMH. This card is so summery, too bad it rainy outside..:(

The Pink Stamper Challenge # 9

For this challenge we were supposed to make a "shaped" project.
These cards are adorable. I ended up making 3 of them with different paper, but this is my favorite.
Hope you like it. I will try to find the link to the pattern for this cute number. There is also little boys overalls-so adorable!

Entries for The Pink Stamper Challenges

Challenge # 2 was to make a project using your scraps. I had a huge selection to choose from!
I made this card for a baby shower I am going to tonight before scrapbooking.
All products but the ribbon are from CTMH. The ribbon is the 49 cent stuff from Walmart.
I embossed the chocolate CS first and then sanded it the reveal the pattern a little more.
The bigger stars are die-cuts from Sissix.
Hope little Mason likes it!
